Putting direct heat in your hair can cause heat damage and dryness in the scalp and hair. For these reasons one should be very cautious when blow drying and flat ironing hair. It is important that you really know your hair when applying heat. Some are very sensitive to heat where they will get heat damage very quickly and some have a high tolerance for heat. You cannot really know unless you have tried and tested this. You can’t really look at your hair and know that you have a high or low tolerance for heat. If you want to know, take a few strands that is in the crown of your hair and apply the max of heat that you would flat iron your hair on (we feel like one should not go above 325 degrees) and see what happens. Take note that if you have different textures of hair that the heat tolerance can be different for different parts of your hair.
This year has been a year of development; last year was a year of startup, but this year is a year where we are coming into ourselves, knowing exactly who we are and what we want to become.
With any business there have been struggles, difficulties, moments where we have wanted to quit, but then, in that moment we receive an email, an Instagram post, a facebook stat from our wonderful customers and all of a sudden we are back in it, loving every minute of it. With the help of you all, you have made it clear who EverButter is and what it is to us. And so this year in 2016 we hope to walk in our path and do exactly what we are meant to do, and be as authentic, organic, natural as we possibly can. We don’t want to sell you something we are not, there will be no bells and whistles with us, nothing fancy, just a family who cares about little girls self esteem, women’s confidence and people’s health and well being. We believe that GOD has put in us something great and we hope to fulfill it this year and on. Thank you for making 2015 great and memorable. We could not have done it without you all! It is you all who have given us inspiration to go on, and 2016 we will go on.
